Staff approachable, but could have more of them! Food! Needs improvement to diabetic choices.

I was well looked after at all times, and the staff were caring at all times, everything that could be done was done.

The majority of nurses and auxiliary carers were fantastic. Unfortunately I was not so happy with some of the night staff - I was made to feel as if I was being a nuisance, especially when I had a urine infection and needed the bed pan more frequently, this made me very worried to press my buzzer once the 9pm staff had gone home, my family did speak to the day staff at the time to get some reassurance and they were assured something would be said - but there was no real improvement over the 6 weeks I was there. The food was very high quality and the remote staff (cleaners etc were very friendly and always had time for a chat when they were working in my room)

Over the years I must have spent over 20 weeks in GWMH re-hab during which at no time have I had reason to complain so all I can say is (well done).
